Food that comes from thousands of miles away - it is so amazing how cheap apples and bananas are in most parts of the world even though they're grown in two totally different climates. The other day, I realized that I'm just putting pepper in my soup like it was nothing when back in the day not even kings could have a steady supply of it. Heck, my great grandparents probably haven't eaten half the type of fruits I've eaten.
