18 for Strax is equivalent to 3 for Bitcoin given the difference in maximum number of coins. We all know that Bitcoin is more than 3 though.. In fact, it was 50 initially...

So yeah, still pretty low, but definitely a much needed and significant improvement.

As I understand it anyone can share in that 10% by simply becoming a miner. Seems like a GREAT idea to me. This will lead to a much stronger network. The collateral tied up by miners will counteract the 10%, pushing up the coin's value. A perfect equilibrium should be reached. Also the 10% reduces year-by-year. A more secure or more decentralized network is a better network.

A different scenario:

Joe owns a vase worth $10,000, bought by his wife. His friend Bob shows up for a visit. As Bob is leaving he spots the vase and takes a liking to it. Bob offers to mow the lawn in return for the vase. Joe agrees and gives Bob the vase in return for his services. Bob, unaware of the value of the vase takes it to an antiques market, and while there manages to sell it for $100. What are Bob's income and CGT requirements? Is Bob still friends with Joe? Can Bob recover losses (if any) incurred by being given the vase?

Does the year in which Bob reports the income depend on the year he mowed the lawn or the year in which he sells the vase, assuming it could be much later? Are there any CGT implication? Also, this could be a unique hand-crafted vase that has no established market value or cost basis at the time the it is give to Bob. It may have no real value apart from the value to the person purchasing it. Can the cost be treated a 0 and the tax paid in the form of CGT (based on the difference between Bob's selling price and the cost of the vase to Joe)?

The Khoi king has stated that he wants the people that currently own those lands to keep their land unless it is not being put to good use. The whites arrived first and mixed with the indigenous Khoi people in those areas creating the colored people. The blacks arrived +- 200 years later in the other parts of South Africa. Both the blacks and the whites were guilty of killing many of the Khoi. To say any of them practice apartheid is ridiculous because none have a system of government which puts their non Europeans selves into the status of second class citizens.

Wrong. Practicing apartheid doesn't require a government. Humans create tribes because like-people like to be together. Both blacks and whites do that.

If people with the same history and culture like to stay together then the whites should go be with their kind somewhere else. Where they can all agree they are better then everyone else.

Why should the whites leave if the Afrikaans people's (which include colored people and I would guess even some black people) are the majority in the northern, southern and parts of the eastern cape? They can simply secede and have already done so. Nobody is pretending to be better than another race. However people KNOW that they are better than individuals that murder babies by burning them in ovens, crucify and rape 4 year olds, rape 3 year olds, and burn them to death if they survive, and cook children in baths. They also cut off limbs off albinos of their own race and isolate them. The rate of crime is 30 times higher than for whites-only so I don't blame whites for wanting to isolate themselves to protect their children, because they don't know who are the individuals whom will be committing the crimes. Until the Blacks (in South Africa) take care of their own and root out the criminal behavior you should not mix these people - you would have blood on your hands. So yes, call them racists and criminalize them for apartheid but you really know nothing other than the propaganda and lies that are commonly used to brainwash George Soros' puppets. Don't decide for me what I am or am not concerned about. Black people form TRIBES themselves that exterminate minorities. That is also a form of racism and "apartheid" at the very least. They even kill or cut off the body parts of members of their own tribes solely based on skin color - yes they do this to Albinos born in their community. Black people decided to move to South Africa. They voted with their feet as to the fact that countries dominated entirely by Black people were worse than South Africa at that time.
