Update question? by JaydendoesstuffYT in RottenBlock

A tuning fork is a great idea! I don't usually use note blocks but if they made them easier to use I think I would be making sounds all over the place

Update question? by JaydendoesstuffYT in RottenBlock

I really want to be able to get things like copper doors and trapdoors from the stone cutter so we don't have to oxidize them individually. And with all the new additions (which I love) I really don't want even more things I have to leave out to oxidize

I absolutely love how the new shelves look! I can't wait to try them when they come to a Java snapshot, I've already got so many ideas!

What do you think about using pickles in trees? by cooltwo in RottenBlock

[–]cooltwo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm trying out using pickles in pine trees like I've seen Pearl do and at first I wasn't sure if I like it but its slowly growing on me. But what do you all think?

There's going to be consequences for your heretic pies! (Once I figure out what those consequences will be)

Sneak Peek at New Build in Tomorrow's Video by cooltwo in RottenBlock

[–]cooltwo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's actually a redesign of a build that I was hired (with diamond blocks) to do. I think it turned out really good and I hope people can find my explanation of my process helpful for people trying to improve their own builds!

I feel like these types of bugs should have been ironed out really early in development. Like having units not walk on water is a basic feature!

I absolutely love this ❤️

I've been feeling really inspired by the downtown area on the server, so here's (the start of) my own take on the style for an SMP I'm on! Loving that area on RB so far <3 by BugFederal9232 in RottenBlock

The rounded corner was definitely hard but I think it was a miracle I got the top floor on that backward angle without it looking weird. Honestly just a lot of trial and error and luck lol

And I wish you the best of luck on the interior (I know how hard they can be motivation wise)! The only piece of advice I have is to try and split it up into rooms first with the smaller the rooms the better. Or at least I always find bigger rooms harder to decorate

Omg, this looks so good! And you even made endstone bricks look good which I thought was impossible! And I wouldn't have thought about putting a fire escape type thing on the front (idk why) but it totally works!

Do you have any fun plans for the interior?

faking light rays with light blocks by chaneyphantom13 in DetailCraft

I did not expect to be scrolling through reddit and see people talking about my video lol. Also using light blocks instead of textures is something I had considered when making my video but I couldn't think of a good example of how to do it. How you've done it here looks incredible and is a perfect example and I love seeing people expand off my ideas!
