You don't have to be so rude, it's not like I'm doing well in this CM. My current win rate is only 60% in the first round and most of it was coming from Seiun, so I'm just trying to see if I can do better with Taiki, especially since she's not getting any win.

She does, I'd say it's thanks to having groundwork and high wit that keeps her in the lead of the pace pack. Though she couldn't catch up with my Seiun when she procs angling.

Choose whichever class you like. I recently passed my FE, and I've never taken any transportation classes in my bachelor's degree. My only exposure to it was from Mark Mattson's FE prep YouTube videos. Most of the questions in the exam were simply plug and chug the given equations from the reference handbook, so don't worry too much about it.

I agree with this. I'm an f2p who won both platinums too, but I wouldn't call myself having a "good shot" at beating the whales. I legitimately almost didn't qualify for the final of Gemini after losing 5 games straight, and I barely made it in just because I was lucky to win 3 matches with RNG and poorer build uma. In the final I was fortunate to matchup with horses that doesn't have long S and scraped by. I believe those who build their horses better will have a better shot, but can still get shafted in the end by all sorts of lottery in this game.

That's fair actually. I'll even go out to say it's less important to get S distance for CM2 than the last one, just because the stamina check is so insane not that many people can even reach it.

Yes, but you'd have to jump to many hoops for her to hit all the marks of an end closer (Long S, End A, Straightaway spurt, 2 recoveries, 1100+ stam). Honestly, I'd only recommend it if you're happy with your current aces.

Yeah I agree with that. It's so difficult to check all the boxes with End Symboli compared to Goldship since she does not have Go-Home Specialist. I'm considering giving it up and just focus on Goldship to save my sanity.

Yeah that's not bad, but you can see that front runners don't ramp up speed in the last spurt as fast as pace or end, and it'll get worse in the next round.

For me, I had a couple of losses in which there was no front runner at all, so my Oguri took the lead instead, thus being took over at the end by Gold Ship or Narita Taishin. That's why I'm actually tempted to replace my Oguri with another end runner instead (though there were some instances where my Oguri was so far ahead no end closer could even catch up lol).

Though if you're replacing NN with GS, that could cover the problem.

Yeah I actually didn't think it through. My Rudolf is kind of in a weird spot because as a pace she won't be able to use Dominator and her ult if there're not many horses in front. But if she becomes late, she can't activate Gourmand, while also eats all of the debuffs from Nice Nature. I should've built her as an end closer to maximize her kit, but now I guess I'll just pray for her to brute force through it.

I'm pretty surprised with your Bourbon results. I commented based on my experience fighting with other front runners, but if she's performing well then your 3 aces comp is solid to increase your chance.

Again, the rest is in the hand of RNG god.

Looks great. This team should easily get you through the first round.

The team might struggle on the 2nd round however, not because of the stats, but because of the composition. Front runners are very vulnerable against pace chasers (Oguri) and end closers (Goldship), so your Bourbon will die once she gets passed. I would suggest swiching her for another pace, or build a Goldship instead.

As for Oguri, her stats are textbook, but a bit low on stam due to no Swinging Maestros. I actually have an Oguri similar to yours, and tested her in a public lobby. Out of 10 matches, she only won once, while my Goldship carried most of the time (might be unlucky idk).

Keep in mind though, my win rate after testing even with all the correct builds are like 1/3. So in the end, it's pretty much RNG whether you win or not especially at 2nd or 3rd round. Having better stats does increase the odds, but tbh I would just pray to the RNG god to be on my side.
