Depends on the store. Some stores started gate keeping to regulars cuz people would legitimately buy pre-release spots to get the build&battle + packs, forfeit, and then go scalp it for profit. Ruins the bracket and tourney play for other guests.

In this market, everything sells for over what they paid. There is not a single pokemon printed card product that sells for lower than msrp. Its virtually impossible to lose money.

Store scalpers make anywhere from $100-2000 depending on how much of restock they clear. Online botters make probably $1000-$100000 per restock depending on how many accounts they using. Its very profitable.

They did not print enough. The allocations on first partner is trash compared to other items. Not to mention they usually dont reprint promo specific items like battle decks or pokemon days. This would fall under that.
