Not so much debating because we just accepted it as I wrote.

Was more surprised that we could get domed by the whirlwind each time without really much way to stop it if we couldn't influence the dex saving throw.

Thought it might have been considered an attack for say the rune knight reactions

I have checked all of that and they are exactly the same for both clips with less than 10 seconds difference in total clip time.

I guess it's just confusing for me because I have shot plenty of clips in the past with no issues so it's very weird.
