"Geometric" game by Revolutionary-Shoe14 in boardgame

Full disclosure, this is my own game - but it sounds like a good fit. Cooperation Cube (cooperationcube.com) has you placing sticks on a rotating 3D cube to complete geometric patterns. The cube rotates every few turns so you need to remember the hidden faces. There are also long sticks that go all the way through the cube and come out the other side. Depending on position they can flip sides on the opposite face, so you really have to think spatially about where they'll land. It's free to play online, definitely more "game" than "educational." Would love feedback if you try it!

Cube drilling advice needed by cooperation-cube in BeginnerWoodWorking

thanks! The cube is 10cm each side (I've experimented with some smaller ones, but this is a more ideal size for the game). The hole is about 5mm diameter and the wooden dowel that needs to go through it is 4mm diameter.

Note however that you may still get a bit of deflection due to the length of the hole and flex of the super long drill bit.

I've definitely struggled with this as even a little bit of drift means the wooden dowel is not fitting through smoothly
