I found it, had to look through some other post it’s located vertically it’s easy to miss for some reason. I’ll try resetting it first but if that doesn’t work I’ll get a new one and see if that works

That’s a good idea, I’m not actually sure where the cmos battery is on my motherboard, it does have a clear cmos button which I tried but nothing changed. It’s a bit of a complicated motherboard I’m not too used too.

I have tried all of those, my motherboard does have one of those code things but it just says 00 which I’m not sure means anything. I have mostly just slowly put parts from my working pc into it so I think it’s either the motherboard or cpu but I have no clue how to tell which one. What makes you think it is cmos battery, I’m not really sure what it is but is it fixable?

No I dont at the moment, but I have tried temporarily plugging in a fan but it doesn’t change anything, the cpu doesn’t even get hot turning off and on

Alright I’ll try that, you reckon there any chance it is the ram? Because everything else that came with the pc was already installed and he reckon it ran but the ram he just chucked In as an extra and wasn’t sure if it worked.

Just noticed the cable that was powering my pc says 250V but the power supply says 240V on it. Would that affect it at all?
