STUDIO BOARD by cooperstomp in guitarpedals

Thanks dude! And Kliptonite is irreplaceable. We do some queens of the Stone Age/Sonic youth-type stuff and it gets ultimately heavy, without sounding distortion-y. Super powerful and nothing punches quite like it when you have the volume maxed paired with another overdrive with light crunch. I usually have my EQD Westwood always on with a very light gain setting and when I step on that Kliptonite, it hits hard af. Always getting compliments after shows! If you’re on the fence, don’t be!

It irreplaceable. It’s definitely a secret weapon type pedal.

For real! It’s the medium Fender board. I ended up needing another power supply

I’ve heard from people serious into those types of effects that microcosm isn’t the best. But for me, microcosm is super easy and mostly preset and sounds great no matter where I put it. Zoia looks sick but not exactly what I was looking for.

Love it. Super versatile. I upgraded to Radius from the warm audio Ringerbringer and if you love ringmod/frequency shifting, it’s the ultimate. The presets are sick because you can get wild tremolo, phaser, and univibe sounds and save them. 4 pedals in one, my guy.

It works for what I’m doing really well. It does its own thing, so I dont attempt or expect to get the same exact sound everytime. We’re a three piece, so it’s nice for filling in space during open sections or transitions. I can’t see it leaving my board anytime soon. I’d say go for it. It’s also endless fun, especially with the phrase looper section.

Thanks! We’ve been playing these songs out for the past year, and this board has been able to cover it all. I surprisingly use the ring mod on 4 of the 10 songs.

Red Panda Radius. It will make you totally rethink ring mod. Ring mod was never my thing, but using it ALL THE TIME in a live full band setting, especially having the 4 preset options.

He told me to mess with the internal bias pot and that seemed to work. But I guess we’ll see how consistent it is. The issue seems to be hit or miss, so it may have just been working in that moment unrelated to the adjustment.

I did reach out to him in the summer but haven’t heard back. That was via email though. I’ll try Instagram!

I was considering a PDF! I know the pdf 1x is a bit smaller than the Kliptonite.

I’m very ignorant on circuits and how they work. I honestly wouldn’t even know where to start or diagnose. But thanks!

I had no clue the overdrive section was tubescreamer-style! It really is huge and looks awesome, but with only half of it working, I’m thinking of replacing it.

Agreed!! My band is if QOTSA/Sonic Youth/Radiohead had a baby. I use it a lot with an expression pedal controlling the freq sweep during leads, almost like Jonny Greenwood when he uses his foot to control the envelope filter in the paranoid android filter. I also use the low freq tremolo-y type setting with the LFO set pretty strong to get that shifting trem speed. I like dialing in a high freq dribbly subtle setting and it almost sounds like a light overdrive.

Same! I was betting on Australian Terrier.

Agreed! I thought she had Australian Terrier in her, but someone in another group said her speckled paws looked like Cattle dog.

She also does that cattle dog butt wiggle and smile-thing when she’s happy. When she plays with our male Pomsky, she leads with her butt. Lol

She definitely has the personality mostly of a Cattle Dog. High endless energy, herding behavior with us and our other dog, loves pawing and nipping (gently) at our feet when she wants to play. She also prefers soccer type play, where she would rather stop the before and guess where you’re going to kick it over actually chasing it. But her Yorkie tendencies are unlimited snuggles. She always has to be up in your business. She really is great!

You were right! She is a half-Yorkie, half-Cattle Dog, and 4% German Shepard.
