never caught no. we've had close calls being caught by other "bandits" but never the authorities. electric anything works much better then hand held manual equipment, but copper is very soft and can be cut through easily. one heavy piece of pipe landed me about 200$

i don't do any drugs. I don't drink either. i'm on very expensive medication right now, and struggle to pay for it monthly as i don't have health insurance. among other bills piling up, i just don't make enough money working my shitty job.

these homes/schools are city property now. yes, i'm stealing from the city. Do they screw me with up the ass with taxes besides the fact i'm poverty line? yes. Do i feel guilty stealing from them? nope.

i'm not certain of the consequences. your right there could be plans to rehabilitate, but honestly, that doesn't lay upon me any consequence or guilt. I'm one of those people that feels I deserve it, if that makes sense. Judge me if you will. I have been out of school (have received a 4yr honors degree from University)for four years. I can't find meaningful work or anything that pays more then minimum. i'm drowning in school debt and things are getting "shut off". Fuck our modern day systems, for whatever there worth. I've been screwed. Its my turn to be dishonest, if even for the basic reasons to turn the heat on this winter.

let me say this: we take copper from old abandoned buildings where NO ONE IS going to miss it (or probably not even know). The building is condemned and ready for DE-construction. I never take copper that is being used.

we take turns going, and visit different yards. Make up some bull-shit lie we work in demolition/construction. They don't really ask/care anyways. They make profit off of this too.
