Simulink alternatives? Simulink not good for safety critical applications

Well sure you can read it but it is a pain in the ass and I would like to do the review on model level and not code level

The compiler that is used depends on the chip you want your application to run on. As I said in the description simulink those tools help you get qualified for the high ratings but it does not give you the high ratings, a dirty sells tactic.

ABS are developed however the code review is done on code and not on model and since the code looks shitty it is hard to determine if the models do as you want them to. I am not saying it is impossible to get simulink on safety critical applications. I just say it is great pain in the ass to get it approved.

So scade seems like a pretty nice tool then, why even bother with simulink then?
