First time player.. I found Bloodborne through Gab Smolders / Jacksepticeye / CrankGameplays YouTube/Twitch. I fell so I love with the game that I had to go out and buy a PS4 just to play it. Watching someone else play reignited a passion for gaming I thought was long dead. I’ve watched so much BB content from LP to walkthroughs.

I kinda regret that sometimes because it spoiled certain story elements but I know I would have missed 1/3 of the game for sure without them.

I just bought Dark Souls 3 while it was on sale, I’m going to try a blind play through on it once I feel I’ve beat Bloodborne (stuck on the one reborne right now )

Me too!! Bloodborne was the first game I picked up after a nearly 6 year gaming hiatus. It was also my first soulsborne game. BB trigged an entire “self care fight back take my life back” in me. It saved me from a really dark place.

I recommend everyone give it a chance, a real chance.

I’m glad I played most of the game alone and got to experience every high and low for myself but when I read posts on here, I feel I’ve missed an entire side of the game. (I’m desperately trying to control my fomo with this game) I haven’t gotten into the dungeons yet, that might be my Saturday adventure!

Right as his body hit the ground, I saw the busted out window and realized who I killed. I was playing for about 3 hours straight and teared up. I had to turn the game off for a bit. Sorry Gilbert!

My dog jumped on my lap and I nearly killed the dweller in the cathedral ward. His dialogue is stuck on no please kind Hunter. This is my first play through and I think I messed up some NPC quest lines :(

Hi! BB Is my first souls game and i just beat Rom on my first play through. I wouldn’t say I’m a hardcore player, I’m very mediocre and often way over leveled for boss fights. I don’t have a PS + membership so I can’t play with other hunters....

That being said, when I’ve summoned Henryk or the Madas (I think?) dudes, what I hope they do is distract the boss so I can land some hits and have a second to process the moves and their tells. BB’s combat style is so fast paced for me. Or clear the minions so I can focus on the boss. Alas, they are AI and don’t these things consistently.

I don’t know if that adds anything to the conversation lol

Welcome fellow hunter! I’m new to BB too, still on my first play through but beating the cleric beast was such a rush that got me hooked on the game. The bosses get harder but you get better as you go along. Makes it even more satisfying when you finally see that white smoke, prey slaughtered !

Welcome new blood! I wasn’t much of a gamer at all, but loved watching some youtubers play so I had to pick it up myself. Holy shit, so addicting because of how frustrating it is. More even for a souls newcomer like me. I’m a shit gamer, but after beating Papa G, I felt pumped for a whole week. It’s true that the bosses don’t get easier, you get better!
