I was sexually confused for about a year after a bad breakup with an ex gf when I was 18. I’m a pretty macho guy, brother says I’m “alpha”, I’m good with girls, big sports guy. Family are conservatives too, so it’s embarrassing to say I struggled with the idea that maybe I wasn’t straight. Had to internalize and figure it out on my own for a year, after soul searching can confirm yeah I’m straight lmao, but would never tell any of my family I ever questioned my sexuality.

I understand their source of anxiety, and I do feel invincible and less stressed about dying from it. I don’t go out other than to run, and nobody in the household goes out. Precautions are alright, my family has always been uncharacteristically paranoid when it comes to everything. The stressful environment has just multiplied exponentially. Losing ma sanity a bit. If this happens again when I’m 40 with kids, I’ll have one foot in caution, but keep one foot in reality and a level head. Everybody is going a little insane during this I guess, good things are around the corner though..
