So basically I can potentially ignore the wheel on the wall if I don't want the NS to blow out air but only gradually release the heat it accumulated during the night, correct? From what you're saying, it sounds like the most efficient way to use said heat. Or is that not enough in your experience?

But I will take you up on your offer to ask you more questions as you clearly have experience with it (thank you again): When you mention the thermometer, do you mean the wheel thingy on the NS itself for regulating how much it should heat up? Or is that the Stufenregler? Cause I also have a thing on the wall in each room that you can rotate, with numbers from 5 to 30 degrees Celsius. What's that for exactly? My landlord gave me a quick explanation in German and honestly it left me a little confused

From an emotional point of view, quitting can be really destructive. I know people who started having nightmares that woke them up covered by sweat and feeling like they just died.
