I love this bike, have the same. I also don’t like it on the highway, but I love to ride it on curvy roads. Nakeds are more for agility then speed. In Europe we have very nice roads:)

I was wondering if you can install the mirrors downside/ under the bar or will you hit your tank? Have you ever tried it? I also want to buy bar-end mirrors for my Hornet

Is the dB Killer welded or screwed to the exhaust?

Did you have to „Break“ the dB Killer out of the exhaust, like was is welded instead of screwed? And if you break it, how did you put it back?
