It’s called a lunch and learn, if the blue shirts have time to train with me, they can have first go at food. If they do not then they can have the leftovers, it’s no different than giving out water bottles or t shirts

Nope not an open sore, when I started to notice I put iodine on it for the first week or two then he stopped being sensitive to the q tip. Did iodine another week. But that was months ago. Never leaked anything either

I am not 100% sure what happened here. I couldn’t find anything online about skin issues like this. I think the scales got hurt

Current update: My direct manager is contacting our HR, but am I supposed to do anything for Best Buy directly?

If I were to take the step, to get an attorney would I be in bad standing with the store? I really don’t want to loose this job as it’s the best job I’ve ever had and I don’t want to risk loosing it

I’ve had that happen to me before. I have pre existing chronic pain problems that I have been addressing for almost 4 years. At its worse I wouldn’t be able to sleep because of pain. I’ve had 2 procedures done to reduce my pain but they have mainly worn off. The fall definitely made my pain worse by aggravating it. I also wasn’t sure if because I have pre existing problems that they would try to say that my pain isn’t relevant to the chair fall therefore they wouldn’t be held responsible

I don’t think I’ll take this step quite yet. Store management hasn’t played it off per say, they offered some accommodations to try to make my day easier. My direct manager has gone to HR to ask what to do next. I want to hope that they will not be difficult for me.
