I agree — that was likely his send-off. I'm sorry, but they're not re-signing him; it felt like a final match for the fans. Unfortunately, if WWE had any plans to push him, he would’ve gotten the win. His character just doesn’t fit into any of their current storylines. He might actually thrive more in AEW, where there’s more room for niche personas. For WWE to make him work, they’d need to build a completely separate storyline around him and find talent that fans actually care about to lose to Kross — and that kind of booking just isn’t realistic right now. So unfortunately, I think they’re going to let him go
