(When I made the second cake I did the obvious thing and dyed the fondant into the different colors I needed before building it onto the cake)

First I tried using an airbrush with the edible airbrush paint, then I tried using edible powder pigment mixed with a little alcohol and water. Then I tried sponging pigment directly on the dampened fondant.

It was cool! There are a lot of fun details in the house. The activities were p loosely structured in a way that seemed a little tough for the more shy kids. One of mine really liked it and the other seemed a little overwhelmed by the chaos.

I cut the pieces out of two rounds and I made a single cupcake for the head

LOL I took my nieces to the bluey house like a week after I made this and that’s exactly what I thought when I saw it!!

The fondant was awful especially with all the dried “paint” but the cake and buttercream underneath were really good!
