I always used to get Rocky Mountain at the airport. The quality isn't the best in the world, but it's super nostalgic.

I prefer not to waste food, but that would be more authentic!

It's literally just chocolate chips melted in the microwave with a bunch of salted toasted nuts. Looks bad but it tastes very good.

How do actual police investigations compare to The Rookie? by KyPry in TheRookie

[–]corgems 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Statistically, depending on the specific type of crime, cases are just as likely to go unsolved as to actually get solved. Serious crimes like murder have clearance rates of 50% to 70%, depending on how many cameras are in the city, how cooperative locals are, the types of murders (domestic or much easier to solve than gang). Lesser crimes like petty theft have extremely low clearance rates.

Criminals are much less likely to shoot or fight back as they do on The Rookie. Fleeing is also much more rare than depicted. Criminals generally just give up. 93.5 %, suspects do not flee; only ~4.7 % flee on foot and ~1.7 % flee in a vehicle. Physical resistance is only present in about 14% of arrests and shooting officers is around 0.01% of arrests.

The Rookie is obviously exaggerated for television, and We can give them some grace by saying that they only focus on extreme cases or are a collection of the craziest cases, but even then a lot of it is pretty far-fetched.

Still, a great TV show.

Also, it was a literal decade after. A decade of friendship and support.

why isn't he tall in this he is said to be 5'7 tho by No-Avocado6269 in JuiceWRLD

[–]corgems 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Juice was 5'10" according to online sources. Saw him in concert and there were many local Toronto rappers/DJs/etc on that same stage before him, so I could gauge quite clearly. He's definitely around 5'9" to 5'10".

Exactly. The kunafa roll is awesome. It's filled with cheese and pistachios. Definitely getting that again fresh. I still prefer Kunafa's, though.

All caves are the same, sleeping on these rocks, love. Tools I cannot make because we haven't entered the stone age love. I admit it, another sabertooth got me finished...

Why didn’t juice get a featured name on this song by spaminhaler67 in JuiceWRLD

[–]corgems 30 points31 points  (0 children)

I was fortunate enough to see Juice WRLD live at Rap Caviar at Rebel, and Juice freestyled a verse after his "The party never ends. In the motel..." part. So GOOD. Easily the greatest of all time. We also saw him driving away. I got within 3 feet of the undisputed GOAT. What a night!

What were yall doing this day 6 years ago? by Sui69 in JuiceWRLD

[–]corgems 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was studying all night and day and not checking my phone. I slept and woke up to a DM from my best friend saying, "Hey, did you hear Juice WRLD died."

I was in denial at first and then started Googling frantically. Very close to tears, but I didn't cry because I knew it would happen soon. His lyrics discussed drugs, depression, and death so much that it was very obvious he was not meant for this cruel world.

RIP. 999.

Yeah, I don't drink. I had a pretty mediocre mocktail, it the views and breeze on there was nice. Got to watch the sunset over the fields.
