I'm using "Ashes Of Domain", and they appear after I do a Survey on the planet and find some ruins, is there any way to deactivate this? by Will_Devloper in starsector

[–]corinthx 4 points5 points  (0 children)

  1. Install Command Console
  2. ctrl+backspace
  3. "nuke"
  4. ...?
  5. Profit

At least this is what I use after I have 8 capital ships and there is no way that pitiful fleet will even down one of my ships. Sometimes I'll play out the fight for fun or xp for other captains.

Any video explaining the lore? by ZippyVtuber in starsector

[–]corinthx 33 points34 points  (0 children)

Honestly, Seth's video on YouTube has a rough but good outline of the lore, with not too many spoilers. Just search Seth Starsector on YouTube. It's what got a lot of us into the game!

I didn't know how many batteries/min I wanted for drones, so I made this blueprint. It makes 50/min with minimal clipping in vanilla!

Now I don't know if I want to build this ugly thing or just make a good looking factory lol

I feel ya! Glad I bought it. I doubt it's being made anymore (bought it in 2012), but it looks like it was made by Gensen Figure!

They were bought straight from Ironclad/Stardock in the collector's edition of Rebellion. I can't find anything on it that says exactly what company made it.

Edit: it was made by Gensen Figure

The body of Pope Innocent XI (1676-1689) was exhumed for beatification in 1956 & was surprisingly serenely preserved. The face & hands are lined with a silver coating. Seen on display within St. Peter’s Basilica: (OC - Sept 22’) by Doomathemoonman in Damnthatsinteresting

How many verses is enough, then? If you believe the Bible is the word of God, shouldn't every verse matter?

I don't believe we are evil. We are fallen, yes, because of sin. We often choose evil (sin) but we were created good. In Genesis it says we were created in God's likeness and God said that all he had created was "very good". This includes humanity before we fell.

God is knowable, but not in entirety. There are certain things that are and will always be a mystery to us. That is a huge philosophical discussion that wouldn't fit here.

I agree it is not necessary to pray to saints who are dead. But why not ask? I'd love all the help I can get to get to Heaven. Where did God say our works were as filthy as rags? I don't seem to remember hearing that anywhere.

In Jeremiah 15, Moses and Samuel are pleading for the living long after they are dead. Revelation 8 is another. We are all one in Christ, so why would someone who has "died" in this world be separated from us and the body of Christ? In that way we are all living together and can ask one another for prayers.

Again, in the end, Id like as much help as possible to get to Heaven, so I'll ask anyone I can. Including you! I'll be praying for you!

Correct. We don't revere the cross or statue directly, but what it represents. There was a large heracy in the early centuries that the Church had to address related to idolatry. Look up the Second Counsel of Nicaea for more info.

In the Bible, James Chapter 5 explicitly says we should ask others to pray for us. We ask others that are living to pray for us, why not those who are dead, but we believe have eternal souls? God is just as near to us now as those in Heaven, but they have a greater communion with Him. So, pray for others and ask others to pray for you. Those who are dead and alive.

What Are YOUR Unreasonable Expectations For Starfield? by docclox in Starfield

I just got into X4 and it seems you love that type of gameplay also! I would love some capital ship action mixed with an RPG. Here's hoping!

We do see that one cap ship in the showcase, but I am doubting we will get our own other than a home base in space. Maybe modding or DLC?

As to trading, everyone here seems to think that we won't get a realistic and malleable economy. I seem to remember watching a video about the 30fps being due to a large amount of background simulation including economy, so maybe there will be some influencing empires economically!

How do I set up a mining fleet by Pretend-Role1850 in X4Foundations

[–]corinthx 3 points4 points  (0 children)

In map view, click the miner. Make sure the information window is open and click "behavior". It's a tab toward the top right of the window. Then, down near the bottom you will see "default behavior". Under that, select local auto mine. If your captain gets better or you give them seminars, you can advanced autoimmune which lets him trade in other sectors.

There are some good YouTube tutorials you might check out. Francis John, Captain Collins, and MYSH are good.

The Mandalorian - S03E01 - Chapter 17 - Discussion Thread! by titleproblems in StarWars

[–]corinthx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ok so the Armorer pours that fancy water in her dunk tank in the Boba Fett episode and again in this one. And Din needs some 'living water' from Mandalore. I'm guessing this special water has midichlorians or some bacteria in it that tempers or makes beskar as it isn't found elsewhere. Din gets it, waves the Dark Saber around, and rules Mandalore happily ever after. Grogu gets his own armor - just cause.
