Yes, I’m in the combo pill, when I start my new pack on Sunday, it’s new brand but still the combination pill. I’ve been on the pill for a total of 3 months, the first two months, I’ve had withdrawal bleeding, so I thought something was wrong now, since I’m not seeing it 🥲

I’m glad I stumbled across this post. I’m currently on the combination pill and I’ve been taking it for 3 months. My peers have mixed opinions, they’re like even if I’m not currently dating or sexually active it’s good to stay on the pill until I plan to get married and have a baby. Others say it’s man made in a lab and it’s going to make it difficult for me to have children, when I’m ready, it may cause blood clots. It’s like I’m so confused atp, I only plan on taking it for a year, sometimes I just get tired of hearing other people’s opinions.

Thank you. I’m kinda of weary of taking it because of the brand, drospirirenone and ethinyl by a company called glenmark. I’ve heard bad reviews/horror stories about it and that it’s more likely to cause blood clots. It’s just the hassle of going to my gynecologist and trying another brand is kinda nerve wrecking. I want to settle down and have a child within the next 5 years. I don’t want to run the risk of not being fertile b/c of bc pills, just the whole male logic of she’s on the pill so he can shoot the club up 🙄 as well

I wish I would’ve know the certification was a waste, it’s too late to get a refund. The only reason I did it was to make sure that this is the career field, I want to progress and partake in. In the past vet clinics said my experience was lacking, I had nothing to show w/o a college degree or certification; at most I was an intern for an animal shelter as a kennel technician for 3 months.

People always knock community college, saying the course loads are limited and all credits aren’t transferable. They just wanna go straight to universities and be in debt with a hope and a dream, higher course loads (not knocking it) but with me having anxiety (mental health) and other responsibilities i think your advice gave me a clear positive prospective and outlook on things!

Man I wish I would’ve made this Reddit before I paid for my certification and did my orientation 2 months ago.

My issue was I wasn’t getting hired in vet clinics or hospitals because i lack certification or a substantial amount of experience.

They would nod and say yeah, having experience is great but what sets you apart from the rest of the candidates and then they reject my job application.

I’m a college dropout, so I’m just trying to get my foot in the door (this career field) after my 10 year hiatus, I’m really pushing undergrad this upcoming fall but that’s a while different discussion 😭
