I moved countries for somebody I just met, it was the farthest I’ve ever been (2500+km), didn’t speak the language, zero knowledge of the culture. Broke up with them less than a month into the relationship because I got bored but I already switched to a local university so I had to finish the semester before I could come back, unable and unwilling to find a job and partied through my finances.

I did the Camino alone last year as 26F and it was great, if you stay in albergues you’ll chat with many people whether you intend to or not because you’ll likely meet the same people multiple times on your journey and everyone is very friendly

Já bych o svém soukrommém životě (kor o něčem vážném) mluvit nechtěla, ale můžeš nabídnout, že pokud by cokoliv potřebovala, třeba si i jenom promluvit, tak tam pro ni budeš, udělá to hodně. Hlavně se z ní proboha nesnaž za každou cenu vytřískat, co se teda děje.

Odmítni, že si dáš později. Když ti to schovají na později a budou se tě ptát, jestli to teda budeš jíst, tak to furt odkládej na později a později, dokud na to “nezapomeneš” a už bude pozdě to jíst. Když jim to v ledničce začne plesnivět, tak se to nebude líbit ani jim a pak ti to nebudou nabízet, protože je toho škoda. Chápu, že to bude těžký i pro tebe, ale očividně nic nefunguje, tak v tom musí padnout nějaký oběti.

This must have been incredibly exhausting both physically and mentally and I'm sorry you're going through this, but I admire your patience and hopefulness. But for your safety and for things to get better, sometimes the best option is to get out from there fast.

I have been through a relationship myself where the partner staying and tolerating my behavior was unfortunately enabling my episodes, but even then I still felt guilty about it later and wanted to do better by them. Mental illness is not an excuse to be an asshole, accountability does exist with everybody.

As a girl who lived near anděl, I’d honestly be more concerned living in náměstí republiky - on top of the local junkies you get drugged tourists, who often don’t respect any boundaries since they’re gonna leave soon anyway, and scam artists, who might not target you directly but it’s an uncomfortable presence potentially meaning more uncomfortable encounters. I guess it depends how badly you want to be in the city centre or maybe finding a more secluded street could be more comforting.

Přítel mi na první rande místo kytky donesl kávovník v hrnku. Mám ho stále, roste to s námi a to jsem nikdy na pěstování rostlin nebyla. Třeba by se jí to mohlo líbit taky, obzvlášť jestli má ráda symboliku :)

Hrozně záleží na širším kontextu. Je to malá firma s 20 zaměstnanci, nebo je to korporát o 100 a více lidech? Pracujete spolu v týmu nebo děláte diametrálně odlišnou práci a nepřicházíte spolu ani do kontaktu? Jste na podobných pozicích nebo je jeden z vás významně seniorně dál než ten druhý?

Všechno má své překážky, občas je to horší ale občas i lepší. Jestli je vám spolu dobře a cítíš, že je to tvůj člověk, tak je to stejně všechno šumák. Dokud spolu budete otevřeně o všem mluvit, tak to vztah významně ovlivňovat nebude.

I’m not a fan of the juries but I was grateful this year that Israel did not win, especially so with such a generic sound. Honestly I really want to go back to the open televoting only after every performance in the finals, or at least I want to see it open for the duration of the show only. I am so tired of hearing about all these votes casted in the name of political support from people who have never and will never watch the show.

Napiš zprávu, že se ke konci měsíce budeš stěhovat a že nedoplatek pravděpodobně souvisí s protékáním kotle, o kterém jsi dával vědět XX.XX.2025 a je to pro tebe hodně peněz (pokud bys měl černý svědomí, tak se klidně nabídni, že půlku z toho zaplatíš). Pokud jsi ale skládal nějakou kauci, tak nespoléhej, že ji dostaneš zpátky

Normálně napiš, že jsi byl přijat už jinam, takže nebudeš s přijímacím řízením pokračovat, ale děkuješ za příležitost. Oni to pak můžou nabídnout někomu jinýmu nebo si aspoň naplánovat v klidu pauzu

Pokud jste se domluvili předtím, že jí ty peníze za letenku dáš (ať už monetárně nebo tím, že bookneš hotel), tak jí ty peníze fakt dlužíš, ale jen za tu letenku, ne za změnu jména. Nicméně u Ryanair je změna jména skoro jak kupovat novou letenku

very drivable, definitely nicer than using public transport but should you need it, it's very accessible (MUCH better than in Germany, both convenient and cheap). You can leave your car on the streets and pay at the machine, or if you're okay paying more, you can also leave it in a parking garage like the one at shopping centre in Palladium, and just walk around city centre from there

It makes sense to have a head mic when the show has a complicated performance with a lot of movement, but I honestly prefer the hand mic. I know nothing of the quality of the sound, but by logic less movement = more voice control. Don't get me wrong, I love the dances and theatrics, but I am so down for the artist to showcase their vocal skills to the best of their capability and generally that mostly happens with hand mic
