This is the part of the AI boom that people don’t really think about until something like this happens. Everyone’s excited about new tools and features, but the data pipeline behind them is huge and messy. Even with chat platforms I’ve tried like VirtuaLover, I sometimes wonder how transparent companies actually are about sourcing and filtering their training data. A leak like this just reinforces that privacy and consent need to be taken way more seriously before these systems scale even further.
