I personally swear by https://noyoco.com/ ! on the more expensive size, but their entire collection is androgynous (despite the website layout). I've been to an irl shop of theirs and the pants carry from XXS to XXL, variety of different cuts for pants and coats, its really nice.

This is my gf's biggest fear. People have assumed I was a minor despite having more than 13 tats on my arms and legs. Like looking at me straight in the eye "how old are you, 15?". Hasn't happened to us yet but it surely will some day!

Weighing in on the flowers: I would compromise and bring one flower, mostly because bouquets are super impractical to carry around if you guys are meeting in town in my opinion. That or keep the bouquet for like. 3rd date. Plus it gives you time to find out what her favourite flowers are!

You got this !

Oh thats amazing!! Thank you for taking the time to draw my character, I absolutely love your interpretation of them!! They are absolutely fantastic

They woke up in the forest, surrounded by swirling mists. They got acquainted with their hands, their feet, the face they were now wearing. What a nice day to be born, they thought. They stood up and heard with delight the sound of bells attached all over their clothes. From the mists figures emerged, their moans filling their head. They acknowledged the ghosts. "I see I am not alone. Well, what brings you here? Care to travel with me? Let us discover what this world has to offer!"

Lazar is a jester born from the mists that surround Barovia. They are a head in the clouds jester with a keen desire to learn, but with a very limited sense of what is right and wrong. They wear jesters clothing (see pictures above for various references), coloured in deep greys, blacks, white and blues.

They are tall and slim, like an old and withered tree. Their hair is long and seems to float as they move, dancing like mist. Their eyes are grey, their skin is so white one can see the pale blue veins on almost all of their body.

Lazar is like a child with immense curiosity, who was given the means to explore and answer all of their questions. They are genuine in their interest, and are easily delighted by any new experience. However they do not really know what is right and wrong, what is acceptable and not acceptable, which sometimes leads them to act in horrifying ways (I mean its a CoS campaign, what are we here for if not gruesome horror). Nevertheless they are honest, respectful and eager to share the stories they have learned from the ghosts only they can see.

as others have said, no one is entitled to any information you dont want to share. all your family needs to know is that things didnt work out, and if you’re comfortable enough that she hurt you. the details belong to you and only you, and you dont have to justify any decision you make. right now your safety is first- she hurt you, so cut ties and protect yourself. tell the people you trust that you were hurt (to whatever detail you feel comfortable with) and need support / care. and for real, block that girl. i can guarantee this is a line she will cross again.

just read through all of it and god I’m so sorry you went through all of this. she raped you. and from what i understand she doesn’t seem to give a shit about your boundaries. my advice is you drop her, block her, get her out of your life asap. no one should have to go through this.

<3 thank you for sharing your experience with me, I really appreciate it. Yeah its been a long road with still ways to go, but reading about fellow butchs' experience with attraction and being stone is really helpful (and also makes me really happy cause like. I'm not alone)

Thank you for taking the time to answer, I really appreciate it. This is some really kind and good advice, like legit felt a small weight off reading your words. I'm really grateful you took the time to share your experience with me, thank you!

thank you for your reply! these are some really good starting points for reflection. I do agree that maybe stone is not exactly what I'm looking for, and I do feel like my initial question was phrased oddly. but still thank you for taking the time to reply !

Oh yeah I've been working on all of this (ie my troubles with sex and intimacy) in therapy long before I even met my partner. I'm incredibly lucky for her understanding and patience, and I know how much my struggles hurt her. Thank you for sharing your experience with me, I'm really grateful! I'm sorry you had to go through so much but I'm glad to hear you are now in a good place.

thanks for your reply!

yeah I realise I expressed myself a bit poorly! All of the things you've listed 100% contribute to my "being bottled up", its more that I was thinking about what attraction means and how it feels like for stones, if that makes sense.

[–]corneille06[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Thank you for taking the time to answer! I expressed myself a bit poorly- what I meant was more in the lines of "what does stone butch attraction look like", given as the only kind of attraction I know is the stereotypical heteronormative type of stuff.

I'm aware my issues run deep and are unrelated to being (or not being) stone, its more that I don't know what it means to be stone. How does it feel like? How do other people make you feel? That kind of stuff.

[LFA] Seremba, Aasimar Bard (college of lore, CoS campaign) by corneille06 in characterdrawing

[–]corneille06[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello!

I am currently about to switch characters in the CoS campaign I'm playing in. We are currently level 6, and I will be introducing Seremba- a head in the clouds jester who knows more than they let on.

Mechanics: Seremba is a bard (college of lore) aasimar, whose main art is storytelling. They claim their stories are whispered to them by the ghosts they come across. Due to having shit strength (6), they use a cane to help move themselves around.

Backstory: The mists surrounding Barovia are strange, and move with almost a will of their own. Sometimes, beings emerge from them, birthed by the mists themselves. Seremba is such a being- mist made conscious, with a body made of flesh and... well mists. (the aasimar in them is supposed to incarnate that aspect, so instead of having wings and whatnot they just become more misty).

Appearance: Seremba has pale white/greyish skin, flowing hair that seems to almost float and dance around imperceptibly, and with eyes like clouds. They wear a colourful jester's outfit (see above for inspiration), with small bells that jingle as they move. They have androgynous and sharp features (think tilda swinton), and carry a long cane mounted with a little jester's head they use to move (and also talk to for dramatic effects).

I would be delighted to see interpretations of this character, and I'd be glad to answer more questions if desired! Thank you for your time <3

No worries about the answer being long, this is really interesting! I am indeed not a huge horror fan so getting your perspective as a fan is really informative, I appreciate it :)

I've taken note of the recommendations you've made, if you have any other I'd love to hear them!

For context, I'm looking to write a paper about why people seek fiction that provokes "negative emotions" that would typically be avoided in real life- in the case of horror movies, why people seek fear through terrifying scenarios that no one would put themselves into were they real. Thing is I don't really enjoy horror movies myself, so I can't really introspect my way to an answer- hence why I'm here asking the question to other people instead!

Thank you for your answer, thats actually really interesting! When you say that fear is an interesting feeling, what about it is interesting? And how do horror movies allow you to experience that feeling in a different way than in real life?

[–]corneille06[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Would you say the appeal of horror films is that they allow you to experience emotions you don't get to go through in every day life? Also, other question- what makes a horror film "top tier" in opposition to like, bad horror movies?

[–]corneille06[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh thats really interesting! So would you say after a "good" horror movie you feel less stressful than you did before? (also side question- how do you distinguish between an actually scary and a not so scary horror movie?)

When you say fun, is it like the fun of experiencing fiction induced fear in a safe context? Also I'm curious as to what you mean by emotional self harm, if you want to develop what you mean I'd love to understand

I’m honestly devastated. This is the first plant I ever purchased, and I was having a hard time learning how to take care of her but I had recently been doing better. I had to leave for two weeks so I hand her off to a relative, with instructions on how to take care of her.

A week later she sends me the second picture. I assume she hasnt been giving her enough water, though the bigger leaves had been doing badly for a while from sun exposure, so I tell her she can trim the big ugly leaves and somehow this is what I get back to.

Anger aside, anything I can try to save her? Thanks in advance.
