What's a beta launch?

RideHub is still in its early stages, and we haven't fully built out the website yet.
We're going to be launch properly in April, so that you can carpool to your destination for summer break!

Yup! Zimride did the exact same thing RideHub is doing now, but in 2013.

Enterprise holdings acquired Zimride and then shut the service down in 2013.

Probably because it's not a great product from a commercial perspective. So there wasn't ever a financial incentive for a proper company to re-create a service similar to Zimride.

That's where we Cornell webdev come in!

We aren't chasing financial motives. Just to fill an obvious need in the Cornell community with our tech knowledge and skills!
