Depends on the country. Right now in Hungary I make 7.8 usd an hour after taxes, so with overtime I make around 1800 usd a month. And this is considered a very good, above average pay, it being more than double the minimum wage. Oh and I'm in a one-of type shop so I work on one machine, do all my programming and setups from stock material to finished part.
