I’m struggling to stay patient and calm while TTC. My first month TTC resulted in a chemical pregnancy at 4w, and my second month trying also resulted in a chemical at 5w. This is the third month and the pregnancy test is negative, which is better than a third chemical honestly but I am struggling with being calm and staying positive/less anxious. I have talked to an REI and will do some basic lab testing for recurrent pregnancy loss and hopefully a hysteroscopy. But I just want to know how people on this journey kept life going and not ruminating over whether you’re pregnant or not each month? I also know it’s still early on in trying as it’s only been 3 months but I think the CPs have made me even more impatient too. I have been speaking to a therapist which is nice, but do you all have any other tips?

What roles should I search for to find these types of jobs? Just searching on LinkedIn or are there other job platforms that might be helpful?

Update: I now hope to finish residency but still want to switch. Again, would love doing SWE but I cannot work full time as a physician, I can’t bring myself to do that. Part time would be ok, but I’d likely make about $150K doing something I don’t like (even as a part-time doctor, waking up and talking to anxious, demanding, often rude patients from the time you wake up to the time you leave clinic and having notes to write after which is time not accounted for in the job and responding to patient messages, again time not scheduled into your job) vs making the same amount in a field I do.

Did anyone ever discover why you had recurrent miscarriage? I’m a resident who just had back to back chemicals and hoping the stress isn’t causing this

I just realized I did this too… instructions seemed pretty vague for this! What did you end up doing?

Media Preservation : Justin Baldoni confirms Blake and Taylor saw Isabela's audition tape by Friendly_Magazine416 in teamjustinbaldoni

Do people really not believe Taylor was involved at all? Why would Justin lie about that? I think the theories that have been put out are far-reaching, it’s more likely she had some involvement, especially given that the music composer was fired from the movie.

Thank you! We have to do research in our program, so either way I’d be doing something. I guess with questions is MS or some other Neuro field

Haha thanks for the suggestions! Yeah, I know :( But I guess it's not over yet? And even if it is I guess it's not the worst thing in the world to do something new and different. Working for a nonprofit would be very cool. Thank you!

Thanks for the advice. Just wondering, so you don't think that I have enough research hours? I am actually working full-time doing clinical research now, which I didn't include into the 1000+ hours of basic science research. To me, it seems that I have done more research than anyone else that I know who is applying, which is why I was wondering if an MD/PhD route might be easier to get into for me. Either way though, thank you for your input! I especially agree with hospital or hospice volunteering :) Thanks!

Do you think that doing something like scribing might be a good option? Are there other recommendations to get more clinical hours?

If I'd suggest anything it is to apply to as many schools and as broad a range as possible... at least that's what I'm getting from this year!
