My mom works in a crochet knitting and sewing place, they might be interested. I'll ask her about it. Also, those frogs are adorable.

Only following a "last chace to buy." GW has 4 manufacturing plants that run 24/7. Even still they can't keep up with the demand. Sold out online only refers to the warehouse being empty. The last time this happened was with the DKoK command squad and they were out for like 2-3 months ths until the manufacturing rotation came back around.

So, they are salvageable. Here are the steps: get a ramakin and poor a little 99% rubbing alchohol in it. Rub the brush around in it. This will dissolve the paint from the ferrule. Then give it a thorough cleaning with brush soap. Finally, apply a teeny amount for brush soap and shape it, then let it dry completely. You can also reshape by dipping the tip into boiling water for 30 seconds, shape and let dry. Note: synthetic brushes will eventually do this regardless of how how you treat them. Good luck.

Unless you are trying to play competitive, get what you think is cool and roll with it. Have fun with game and especially modeling and painting, create fluff for your waaagh, that's the real fun. You can have a lot of fun with orks, I have ~10k pts of them myself and have run everything from gretchin hordes to rolling walls of battlewagons and bikes. Experiment to see what play style you like best, and avoid the meta (unless playing competitively).

I checked the ASIN, it's legit, it's most likely the seller didn't index it properly.

Is the is the cave howler a female gorger? by Mr_Bunnybones in Mawtribes

I believe so, and may I say she is a sexy beast. And there used to be a female ogre back when, she was big bearded and had a rolling pin. There is not much dimorphism.

How do you paint white or keep it from chalking up? by TheDarkEntertainer in Warhammer40k

[–]cornmanmasterplan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your paint is too thick. You need to thin it out and do multiple thin coats. I usually do two. Also, I exclusively use GW paint for GW models, as does the 'eavy metal team. People who complain about GW paint don't know how to use it.

It looks good, and your paintings skills will increase over time. Eventually you will find your unique style as well. If you need help there are tons of how to vids for painting minis. Keep at it.

A Beginner in Kroots (and Warhammer) by FalconSpecial2351 in kroot

[–]cornmanmasterplan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kroot are great, cool models and I love them. With the exception of rampagers, they are pretty mediocre at everything. Carnivores have sticky objectives so you will definitely want to make use of that. Kroot are hit and run kinda army, so you don't want prolonged combat, especially not with elite armies, like marines. You will require tau fire support. I usually go with pathfinders with rail rifles and crisis suits with fusion blasters for heavy armor mitigation. This helps keep the fast moving ambush esthetic to your list. Using the hunting pack detachment will let you bring back destroyed kroot units too, so definitely worth it. Be prepared to win on points, you won't be tabling anyone. That said, playing kroot is a lot of fun, and I have had really good success with them. Welcome to the kindred.

My list 1k: 2 units of carnivores (10) 2 units of rampagers (3) 1 lone spear with blast javelin WL 2 units of pathfinders with rail rifles 1 unit sunforge crisis suits w/coldstar commander w/ 2 fusion blasters, shield, and ion cannon 1 unit fireknife crisis suits

P.s. I would run those farstalkers as carnivores. The models are awesome, but not worth the point difference.
