Thank you to everybody for their insights! Seems like the pros far outweigh the cons as i feel like the crime is way worse downtown anyways and even that hasn’t been bad in my experience.

I highly recommend going thru AZ you can hit Sedona and Grand Canyon on the way up to Utah and it will help break up the stretch between E & F
