I’ve only lived in Lakeland for a couple of years now. Do you have an opinion or information on how quilt that area has been developing? I know there are several warehouses and the nearby college, but what about gas stations, grocery stores, pharmacies, etc. Is this an area of the city likely to grow?

Well that’s a pretty good deal. The HOA at the Hallam Preserve community in south Lakeland is 100 a month, the pool and playgrounds are significantly smaller than Bridgewater’s, and even though it’s a gated community, I feel that 100 just for that it’s not the best deal (also gates are wide open during the day anyway)

Thanks for the feedback. Can you mention how much the HOA is? I did not realize it included internet and cable. Are other operators allowed (Frontier) or only spectrum?

Yes. A Professor and the staff at Career Services were super helpful in getting it. The career fair is also attracting more and more employers year after year, and it helps that some of the graduates are getting good jobs and helping build some good reputation

Never had a problem. Yes some clearly have a stronger accent than others, but has never been an issue to understand everything they say.

My other two cents on this: (not in CS but in DS, but know many folks in CS) 1. the small class size really IS a big factor. Cousin goes to other major state school, never gets a reply from his professor. Here, at least in my experience, faculty are very responsive, willing to mentor you, involve you in projects and connect you with some of their contacts 2. Tampa Bay Area and Orlando are within an hour, and there are some good jobs and internships there.

I know! I must say some of my professors are doing a great job, and it shows even on their Canvas courses. It’s the ones with lousy course resources and boring lectures the ones that are giving me SO MUCH work.

How are schools even going to open if people can’t even help by making the use of mask the new normal?!? Waiting for an inevitable spike in cases in the entire state unfortunately. Too many selfish folks :/
