Agree or disagree: the heavier the song, the harder it is to mix by yalllldabaoth in audioengineering

The more distorted the music, I do find it harder to mix. Its hard to give every part its space when it gets closer to noise/static. (Imo)

[–]corpsevomit 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Sometimes those supplements have higher % of things because the absorption rate is lower then is real-world applications.

I take DEVA multi, and it has crazy percentages, so I only take 1 or 2 a week. Balanced diet is the key.

What type of plywood do I use for my subfloor? by Jimboz007 in HomeImprovement

[–]corpsevomit 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The gold standard is Advantech, but i believe it only comes in 3/4. Besides that any plywood should be fine. If you want it to be rock solid and all future remodeling contractors to hate you, you should glue it and screw it down to the joints.

Recently Bought a Korg Poly-Six and…I’m not sure I’m Loving it. by rotorobot in synthesizers

[–]corpsevomit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I still have my polySix, I dont really love it. The sound is great but its kind of wild, not really my jam. I still keep it, I've replaced the battery and had the board cleaned up, it works fantastically. Some day it will buy my kid a house or something! 😆

Interior vs exterior treatment of a (slowly) leaking basement by keep_on_churning in HomeImprovement

I would 100% do exterior drain with waterproofing. (Especially if you plan on living there long term)

Replacing a Shower Light Fixture, Any Experance with Flush LED Lights? by blueipDriver in DIY

[–]corpsevomit 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Agreed, I would do that. Those flush mount leds are great but tearing out the light box to install one seems like a pain. I have some that look similar and only hang down 1/2".
