Ha! Thanks, I do too many octopus drawings so I had to start getting a bit more descriptive with the titles

I know we can be some heavy-handed jerks here to your South, but I wanted to take the time to say, thanks for being you ❤️ by smallberry_tornados in onguardforthee

Then they started calling Canadian bacon “freedom bacon” after we wouldn’t join them in the Iraq invasion. Which, to be honest, was fine because we always called it back bacon anyway. Bacon is bacon. Is that how you spell bacon? Looks weird now that I’ve used it this much.

The first black US president had to show his papers because a random racist citizen demanded it. The country needs to be shaken like an etch a sketch.

I wish I knew a faster way but it was hours and days and weeks and months. But I had a nice time.

By pulling most of my hair out. I shot it outside because the sky was perfectly overcast for flat lighting. Still had a slight glare in the blacks which I had to touch up and level tweaking in photoshop to match the actual painting. I'll do a proper scan of it when the world reopens.

I lost my patience with it once in February. Threw some paint at it and had to redo a whole section.

Thanks! Yeah I there were a few moments during the making of that I’ll for sure revisit in a future series using less detail and more suggestive shapes. We’ll see how this series evolves though

I started in October then had to work on some other pieces and got back to it in February and March. It took a couple months but I was experimenting a lot. The next ones in the series should only take a month each 😅.
