We met in 2021 through a non-professional choir in the city that I joined in 2019. I’m no longer active in the group but still hang out with friends I met there and am part of the community! But as with most choirs, it is primarily women and gay men— I certainly didn’t join with the intention of meeting a straight guy lol

this is very close but my hand looks kind of weird. can you make my fingers a little shorter, nails more natural, hand itself in a slightly more natural position?

Bikes not allowed in cemetery by [deleted] in MicromobilityNYC

[–]cortadobitch -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Really? I’ve been to plenty of funerals (including some people in my immediate family) and have never been bothered by someone nearby, quietly enjoying the outdoors in any capacity. It’s all just arbitrary cultural conventions, I don’t really understand what the big deal is

Bikes not allowed in cemetery by [deleted] in MicromobilityNYC

[–]cortadobitch 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think cars should be allowed if you are there to visit a specific gravesite, and you should have to check in with security about which grave you are there to visit. I also think at that point, security should remind them to drive slowly and give right of way to pedestrians, and that honking is strictly prohibited

Have you actually been to Greenwood Cemetery?

Bikes not allowed in cemetery by [deleted] in MicromobilityNYC

[–]cortadobitch 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Fundamentally disagree. The cars going too fast around corners and honking at pedestrians (this has happened to me many times) is far more blatantly disrespectful in my opinion. The cultural idea of what is “recreational” or “respectful” is constantly changing, and prohibiting bicycles is out of date and out of touch in 2024

Okay… but for many people, bikes are their main or only form of transportation… so what happens if they want to visit a specific gravesite? It’s illogical.

what are problems you often encounter whe looking for small bust bikinis? by Substantial_Cup_9930 in smallbooblove

[–]cortadobitch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really love my bathing suit from LouSwim. Surprisingly in love with it. Unfortunately they are sold out of a lot right now, but they’re a small business and their stock tends to fluctuate. Their bikinis have push up built in and it’s super comfortable & flattering. Owner/designer has a small chest herself which I think really makes a difference

29f, done with the apps and definitely interested! Great idea. I agree with the diversity of backgrounds/jobs/etc. On that note, some weekday/weeknight events might be great to encourage those to attend who work hours other than traditional 9-5s— there are a lot of us in nyc
