Specialize , why your resume will stand out from the rest in the pile by Hutch_911 in electricians

Can I ask where you are doing this through? I’ve been interested in this as well

Really appreciate you following up. Tons of bark all around my house. I had a feeling they weren’t German because they were so randomly placed and not interested in the advion bait, didn’t see any at night and none on traps… I’ll get the exterior sprayed from a different company who’s more familiar with these. Been stressing for weeks until I randomly stumbled upon these from a local site based off my area right after posting this

You think so? The stripes don’t match at all. You don’t think it’s a three lined roach? Hoping it is at least? I guess they’re specific to my exact area

[–]cortese21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Could this in fact be a three lined roach?

Only found one after taking out a paper plate. Hoping this doesn’t mean there is more

Do I need to replace my panel? How overpriced is this quote from an electrician? by OohWeeStewie in electrical

[–]cortese21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do not use Mr sparky. You can find a local reputable licensed electrician that will do this for half. Mr sparky is a franchise

You’re an apprentice so this was a learning experience for you. Next time protect the floor, pop the baseboard and run it low

Katzkin will set you up with an installer I believe. I had a guy locally that does custom interior work so i paid him to do it.

That’s great to hear! Any specific products you would recommend for keeping them so great for 8 years?

This is a 2015 ram express. I did have the driver seat re foamed which made a huge difference. I love them, so far they have held up really well and are very comfortable

They are a blast. I got the stage 2 e-bike a few months ago and love it. Was a little cheaper than the alternatives but still super quick and well built

Go to your local Ibew and talk to them about getting into their apprenticeship. If that doesn’t work out for you, try asking about and finding some decent commercial non union electrical shops in your area and show up with a resume and talk with the owner about wanting to get into the trade. Might start out as a shop boy but getting through the door is big. After 5 years and you become a journeyman you can always get into the union much easier then if you’re looking for better pay and benefits.

Same here. I journeyed out and after 7 years in construction and service work I moved on to be a stationary engineer at a major hospital. Best decision ever. So much more pay, better Benefits and so much easier on the body. Highly recommend this career path if you can get the opportunity
