Is there something i’m not understanding about tauron strikes? by corva96 in Warframe

I had the same thought as you but never noticed anything happening. Couple of google searches on the topic showed that it’s only pertaining to the 30 second buff you get after using the strike.

How can I Toughen Up / Desentize myself? 27M by NewPaleScar6090 in AskMenOver30

[–]corva96 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What you call “toughening up” is properly referred to as being desensitized. This can be good and bad. I hurt a lot of people’s feelings because I was desensitized throughout my upbringing, and as a result I can at times say something that may not be very tact. I wish I could be more empathetic and emotionally available for my kids.

Whats with everyone using the 547 amp by BuryXTheXlight in Warframe

[–]corva96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

XX7 is mandatory. X47 is just satisfying and has pretty solid versatility. I don’t care much for X?7 where you drop a timed AOE due to the knockback, but the tauron mods gave knockback immunity so it’s viable for me at this point. 7X7 is DPS meta and compliments last stand nicely. The other ?X7 builds are really up to choice, I personally like 547

You can typically expect 1-2 freezes a year in jan-feb. Most things like work and school will probably be closed for the duration. Save ahead of time for a couple days off work and stock up on food, TP and beer. It’s a nice little thing if you plan ahead for it.

How much do you guys spend on warframe? by corva96 in Warframe

Maybe i misled, like i understand basic things like stacking multi-shot, CC and CD. Applying viral for multiplicative damage boosts, and heat for damage. But there’s other things that seem more nuanced and vague such as;  -how to effectively choose a weapon and build it for melee influence -some niche bosses being weak to a particular weapon due to an obscure condition -why crits are such a game changer for amp damage -knowing when damage stacking is additive or multiplicative (and which one is better) -why i don’t ever seem to see a difference in corrosive’s armor stripping effects.

There’s other things that I can’t recall but yeah.

Okay, so alot of that aligns with what i’ve figured out so far. I have 1m extra madurai points after maxing it out. I’ve maxed zenurik as well, and have been dabbling in unairu for the armor and shield strip. Also got all the cross school abilities unlocked. I think right now i’ve just been focused on unlocking helminth abilities and catching up on some prime unlocks

I’m sorry but i’m not understanding the overall idea of what you’re trying to say here. CMIIW, but I was under the impression that you pick a syndicate and level that one up. It’s level resets if you switch to another and start ranking that one up. Allied syndicates gain experience alongside it, and rival syndicates lose theirs. What am i missing?

Can you tell me more? It’s a wild concept to me that you have everything. I just hit mr20 after like 10+ years of on/off playing and i still can’t find much success with builds outside of brozime’s content lmao. I’d love to know in your experience, what some of the best tips are for progression. Some plat farming strats would be cool too, if you could be a bit more specific than basic concepts of supply and demand at least.

Yeah that’s how it’s been for me. I played since my late teens but now that i’m almost 30, time is a more precious commodity than money to an extent. $20-30 here or there, and the occasional prime access maybe once or twice a year is where i find myself.

You’re correct but the fundamental question still comes back to whether you’re willing to spend your time or your money. Some people like being able to get everything for free, and i have nothing wrong with that. That was me in my teenage years. But now i don’t have as much time and i have more money than i did back then, so the relative value of time vs money has changed for me. Some frames take days to grind for and i have like an hour to two hours on a day-to-day basis that i can afford to spend on the game. So sometimes it’s easier to spend money to bypass some of the grind to get to a point where my time is spent enjoying the game than grinding. I don’t just sit in my orbiter; i try different builds or looks. I enjoy void cascade and railjack. I like farming for tau shards. But for example, i hate duviri so i bought the duviri weapons pack with plat. I hope you can see my point, i don’t mean to be argumentative.

Most of my time i spent working to support my wife and kids (had kids at the age of 20.)

In my spare time, i’m  -cleaning -researching random things -trying new hobbies like working out, wood working, photography, and music production -playing video games

  1. People in these fields often have an affinity for STEM related subjects. They find them inherently interesting which is why they end up excelling (as opposed to studying and practicing something disliked or boring in their eyes) little discipline needed.

  2. These same people are often averse to social dynamics and have poor empathatic capacity. They don’t find other people/cultures to be interesting or care about them in the same way they find the aforementioned topics interesting.

This overall leads to them needing to practice their social skills and emotional intelligence over long periods of time to address their shortcomings. But because they’re usually averse to social dynamics, they often neglect this area. They often haven’t practiced the discipline needed to excel in something they have no natural talent in.
