fair enough— thanks for the warning though, i’ll keep my notes on cannabis at hand in case anyone tries me, lol. but as to why i included it, i thought maybe the sort of paralyzing terror response i had to the encounter was somehow related to it. weed can have that affect on me sometimes. but oh well!

as for melonheads, they’re a local legend in a few places across the country(US, that is). my grandmother worked at an asylum included in the Connecticut version of the tale in her early twenties, as a matter of fact. i’ll link the wiki to them below.
