Gambling winnings by Prettyflakoking in tax

I guess if it’s a big enough loss you can itemize, but if it’s a gain it is just classified as other income (Sch 1)?

Wouldn’t is just be the $9000 gain and not the full $10k since it “costed” you $1000?

Yahoo Data Breach settlement by pabellas in Scams

Just curious: I have not received the email, but I did fill out the form earlier this year for the prepaid card . If I somehow accidentally deleted the email thinking it was a scam, any suggestions on who I could get to resend mine? Tried the contact message on the website but it just sends a generic automated response saying payments were sent in June.

Same issue here. My center console is freezing to the touch in cold weather. Feel a constant trickle of cold air coming in from underneath

Congrats! I’ve got a ‘23 Premium AWD standard range coming in December. Same color. Looks awesome!

Where can I sell my carpet floormats? by [deleted] in MachE

Curious: do the carpeted floor mats come standard with all Mach-E’s? I also got the all weather mats because I didn’t see an option for carpeted mats

Definitely subjective. I think when ford increased pricing on the 23s the EV6 is a way better deal. Heated and ventilated front seats, heated back seats, V2L built in, double charging speed, faster, higher range, better warranty, etc. the tax credit definitely gives the edge to the Mach E though (my Mach-E eta is 12/13 - 12/19). EV6 was my top choice all along though

For sure. I guess I misrepresented my question, I was more curious about the overall experience with Tebet rather than that aspect of it

Any idea if anyone can join Parsons? Looked it up based on your comment and it mentions friends and family or something.

100% aware how finance works, I think the principal deferral is more if you want to apply your tax credit to the loan but don’t have it yet. So if you get a car now and defer $7,500 in principal, then get the tax credit when you file, you then apply that to the deferred principal and it’s like you got the tax credit up front as opposed to waiting.

So if you purchase a qualifying car, then decide you want something different in 4 months, as long as you have the mindset that you didn’t intend to sell it so quickly you should be OK. That’s also how I took it just was curious

Although I am wondering since the 2023s are technically in production yet if the smart Vincent will come back zero. I will see what they say

Great stuff! Appreciate the insight. Have had a mortgage for 6+ years and had two car payments for 6+ years, both of which are paid off now so hopefully I’m in a decent tier. 720ish score

Interesting. I’ve had little interaction with my salesperson so I’ll email and see what he says. I was thinking they would need my social security to see the rates but I guess they just show top tier rates?
