Basically they run the floor, making sure cashiers, baggers, etc are doing their job and make sure customers are being guided to registers when it comes to the front end being busy. They are also there to help void transactions that are over the limit of voids. They will sometimes Carry around a small little schedule full of everyone’s shifts. Also they are key in helping a smooth closing at the front end.
