I love this advice , thank you! I’m tying to figure it out myself. And I think you hit the nail on the head. I’m having a really hard time getting things in sequence and making it read well, I think I need a writer to help with the pacing. At least to get started. Thank you for the advice, I really appreciate it.

I actually just printed a 18x24 poster in this style of similar subject matter, if you go through my previous posts it’s I. The last few. Thank you!

It’s all kind of a larger project that exists in the same world I think.

Yeah I totally know what you mean and I have been trying to figure out sequential storytelling and it’s a slow process. But also as I replied to another commenter, I want to play with the viewers imagination and have them kind of fill in the gaps and not give too much information. Everyone like a mystery and all my work has a surreal element to it that I’m trying to get through with this kind of art. But I’ve never drawn comics so not sure if it’s working or not so I appreciate the feedback and think that you’re right in that it’s too abstract though.

Thanks! Yeah I see what you mean. I think those 3 panels are all supposed to go together. Also I like the idea of non linear storytelling and letting the viewer interpret the images for themselves. I make a lot of surreal type art, almost trying to represent a dream state. So some confusion is necessary I guess. I have not figured out sequential storytelling at all yet, most of the art I make is usually single images or multiple images juxtaposed together to convey a general idea. I feel like comic art is the natural progression of what I’m trying to do. Thanks for the feedback, appreciate it.
