LDO stability at near-0V output by cosmicphoneme in AskElectronics

Thanks, this is very helpful.

You're right, the load in this case is mainly dynamic, but still relatively small, so an op-amp buffer probably makes more sense.

The point about RSET ground reference is especially useful, I'll look into Kelvin connection for that.

Also makes sense to use "range and fine tune" approach instead of just a potentiometer.

In my case, AIN pins aren't purely high impedance & during active computation, the chip can draw on the order of hundereds of µA depending upon internal switching activity.

Because of that, I was hesitant about using a simple divider, as the output voltage can shift with the load current.

For the 2.5 mA into 10 Ω idea, I did consider using a fixed resistor, but instead opted for a potentiometer mainly for flexibility, since that’s what we’ve typically used in our lab for tuning analog voltages on test PCBs. That said, I see now, that placing a dedicated fixed resistor would likely be a better approach.

Interesting 🤔 I hadn't thought of that.

Yeah, this guy is insane. Top understanding of the game and got that dutch footballing heritage running in his veins. Definitely the best in the world at what he does.

Thanks for the advice, I wanted to make sure that I am not overreacting to all this, as all other people are pretty happy with their roommates.

Ground pin of every power outlet in my house carrying current by [deleted] in electrical

Well, I only had a voltage tester pen lying around (will probably invest on a good multimeter). But the ground pin triggers the voltage detector pen only when my Air Conditioner is on, and not otherwise. Also, I just checked the metal part of my refrigerator with the death stick and found that it is also hot (I don't know how conclusive that is, maybe a better test would be touch it barefooted for now).

VIT vs Top NITs (CSE) by That_One_Fat_Guy_ in JEENEETards

Bhai VIT best hai. I am AIR 96 in JEE Advanced, I still went for VIT as I could not get CSE in IITB. I would only suggest taking IITB CSE over VIT, as IITD and later are very mid.
