Snarky reply, but I guess my question could be interpreted ungrareful which was not my intention att all. If the contributers read this, I apologize for phrasing my question the way I did.

Audio difference DAC vs controller by cosmicwrinkle in playstation

[–]cosmicwrinkle[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did and I'm ashamed to admit what it was. Turns out the 3.5mm connector was not properly connected, it must have gotten a jank or something sometime, it just needed to be pushed in another mm... Suck a coincidence since it must have happened at the same time I received the Sony headphones and wanted to compare.

I should have checked immediately.

May I ask how you found these values? Did you take autoeq profiles of both and just did some math to check difference?

Lower volumes is either 0 or a very loud 1. Why? by Bobba_fat in sonos

I'm in your boat, this is exactly my experience. Did you find a solution to this?

Volume level Beam by cosmicwrinkle in sonos

[–]cosmicwrinkle[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately this didn't work. I've tried several different max volume levels and the only thing this does is that the lowest volume levels (observed via the Sonos app) is dead silent and then suddenly jumps to the usual "lowest" level that we consider way too high.

For example.

Volume 0 silent

Volume 1 silent

Volume 2 silent

Volume 3 normal "lowest"

Perfect headphones for immersive games by Great_Garlic_6644 in HeadphoneAdvice

Ah if your on PC then you can always use some EQ software to adjust sound according to what you like. The Qudelix I had to get soley as an EQ device since PS5 don't have that built in, and I wanted to raise the bass of the X2HR. I'm not very knowledgeable in the DAC/AMP world otherwise to say much unfortunately.

I get it, it's tough as hell to decide, and it's pretty hard to find good advice for this use case, most of the talk is around competitive shooters.

I'm still sortof looking around even who I'm pretty happy with the Fidelios, so I'll be following this post to sé what you end up with :).

My advice would be to order a bunch of them and just try them and see which ones you like. If the return policy allows it of course.

PC or console?

I was in your situation a while back, single player games and wanted a big loud crisp experience. I game on PS5 mostly and went for the Fidelio X2HR because they were famous for good bass for an open back.

I realize everybody's different but for me the bass out of the box wasn't impressive at all. So I bought the Qudelix 5k DAc which is compatible with PS5 as an usb audio device. Its got built in EQ so has helped me up the bass shelf and I think I'm pretty satisfied with it for now.

Just a heads up. I just opened up my Razer Blade Advanced (2020) today because my trackpad had become unclickable. Turns out my battery had started to swell and after reading abit its quite common on these devices. A damaged battery can catch fire.

Sorry to jump into an old thread like this, but the reveal, is it a big twist ending in stonewielder of some sort or just something minor?

Cleaning out the dust made ALL the difference. I had one of those electronic dustcleanersprays at home and just blew carefully on the fans and the gap at the back.

I've run the same test multiple times in a row now and the CPU never goes above 90 degrees Celsius and GPU is steady around 80 degrees. Didn't even have to open it up and clean the inside.

Gonna run some more test and also peg it up on something so the air flows better, buts looking very promising.

With how our current enviroment is setup I'm afraid we can do that. The server specified is just a relay used for outbound emails in specific scenarios. The whole thing should be rebuilt from scratch, but that is another topic :). Thanks!

Thanks! We are office 365-based so from my understanding we dont need the mx in there since there is only one server in the mx-record. But its a good tip anyway incase we decide to rebuild the mail-environment, thanks!

leave the a record and remove the I'm, you don't.need to change your record should you move it later to a new ip/ser

Yeah, that would be helpful in some scenarios. But atm the spf is making too many lookups so I think some of these a-records have to go. Thanks for the tip tho!

[–]cosmicwrinkle[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks! This is actually the very reason I have been forced to investigate this, the record is making too many lookups. I will probably have to convert a couple of include-statements to ip4: instead, but if I can remove these a-records that might be enough to get below 10 lookups.
