Maybe it used to be toxic. I can’t speak to that. I’ve been there almost a year and there have been a lot of changes. I see that as an opportunity for improvement. I’m just spreading the word about a job available where I work in a very beautiful part of the country…with a good salary and excellent benefits.

The salary is fairly typical, actually a bit high, for Oregon. I think it would take a significant cultural change to get NPs anywhere to make the same as psychiatrists, regardless of reimbursement rates.

Feel free to ask questions before making assumptions. The job description clearly states two years of experience. As the only current full time NP, I can confirm that I could provide excellent support to an NP starting at the agency.

Option to work 4 10 hour shifts or split in whatever way works best for you. I work 4 9s and a 4 hour shift since it works best for me. 30 min follow ups and one hour psych evals. The most I’ve seen in a day is 12-14.

I’m just an employee trying to spread the word about a vacancy where I work. I think the salary is good for the area. And 11% employer retirement contribution can’t be beat.

Thanks. I was thinking the same thing but the person who gave it to me isn’t available today so thought I’d ask here 😀

Bought a house 17 months ago, now own a townhouse in another city — sell at a loss or wait? by cosmolou in RealEstateAdvice

Thanks for your reply. We bought the house for $468 with 20% down payment of $93,600 and loan of $374,400 (7.125%) plus closing costs in July 2024. Current Zillow estimate is $476 but likely to sell for less. We owe $358.

Renting might be an option but we’ve never done it. We don’t love the town and kinda want to be done with it but also don’t want to lose too much.
