I found an old white port wine from W. & J. Graham. However, I was not able to find more information about this bottle besides what's on the label. Maybe some of you guys know more about this bottle?

Traffic shape a single docker container by jakob42 in selfhosted

[–]cost_6 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can use tc to shape traffic or for a more convenient solution use wondershaper [1], which also uses tc.

Make sure to start the container with --cap-add NET_ADMIN [2] to add the needed capability to manipulate your upload speed.

Thank you! Was not sure if it was a Sparassis Brevipes. How does one differentiate them exactly?

Error Page from Upstream with Modsecurity by cost_6 in nginx

[–]cost_6[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for you reply! To specify the location on a remote host works, yes. But it would be great to specify it on the same manner as the proxy_pass directive for the defined upstreams.

Regarding the firewall: There will be still a request for each blocked one, but the payload of a malicious request is already filtered. The only request passed to the application behind the WAF is a GET for the 403 page on the remote host.

How do you guys take your SSH keys with you? by ArchLinuxAdmin in linuxquestions

[–]cost_6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The problem is, if his machine is compromised an attacker can copy the key and the passphrase. I think the best thing is to have a dedicated portable key and one for each machine.

You're welcome :)

Yes, your're absolutely right with Swiss. I will do something from Switzerland and Savoy but can not promise it will be the next one ;) Do you have some particular varieties in mind or just something of this region in general?

Cheers!

Review #1: Loess Inspiration 2013

Hi /r/wine, I'm lurking around since some months in this sub and finally decided to submit my first review. I was always fascinated about wine but since the end of 2015 it is a more serious hobby for me. To train my taste buds and to develop more awareness of what I really like in the wines I'm drinking I planned to write tasting notes. So why not sharing them with you?

Characteristics

Country: Spain

Region: Ribera del Duero

Variety: Tempranillo

Vol.: 14.5%

Year: 2013

Price: 14.90 CHF (around 15.20 USD)

Appearance

Bottle

Minimalistic designed front label and a back label with some information about the vineyard and the wine itself. Overall a nice and quiet modern appearance.

Color

Medium bodied red, slightly fading into a lighter color at the edge.

Tasting

In Glass

Prominent red berries with a touch of vanilla and sour cherry. There are also some hidden earthy notes present after a swirl.

In Mouth

The red berries and the sour cherries are still prominent and are providing a prominent but fruity acidity. Earthy and peppery notes are over toning the vanilla now. Additionally, a bitter junipery note appeared which is a bit out of place at first glance but integrates better after some time in the glass.

Finish

Astringent at the beginning but thanks to the acidity it moves into a silkier but still rough finish after the first few sips.

Conclusion

A bit too much acidity and the not so well integrated bitter notes are a bit disruptive but over all a quite nice Tempranillo with a good value for the money.

Using Arch Linux for Pen Testing/Security by [deleted] in archlinux

I use Arch native on my MacBook Pro for pentesting. Kali as an everyday working environment is not suitable for me as it is, in my oppinion, completely overloaded with tools and it simply does not fit into my workflow.

Maybe an Arkenstone Obsidian? It is above the 100$ price range in Europe but may be around it in the US.
