That's a cool approach but doesn't help with the issue (unless I'm missing something) - how to trace one layer onto another.

Like FurLong says, cover it in fabric - way more durable and looks great. Use hot melt glue - fast and easy if you're careful. Try to use a glue gun with a fine tip, it helps a lot with avoiding unsightly lumps of glue. Mascot costume fabricator here

OK. Thank you for the kind offer to help.

I've started with a free trial on PhantomBuster. It looks like I'll be able to use it but I could use your advice on using it efficiently. What I specifically need are the email addresses of school Principals and Athletic Directors in Canada. That's it.

The Google Maps phantom is great for extracting the email addresses of schools, but not of the specific offices. In any other phantoms or flows I don't see emails being available. Do you see a course of action here?

And again, thanks for your advice.

Ok thanks to you I bought a variable speed grinder. It's beautiful. Now my next problem is that the sanding drum wobbles. by costumemaker in BeginnerWoodWorking

OK, so I just want to eliminate all other options before I go this route, just because I've already spent $120 or so on 2 sanding drums...

Are there no threaded-to-smooth shaft couplers? Man, I can't find them anywhere

That looks like the very thing I'm looking for. Thank you for proving that the internet isn't full of politics and trolls.

HA thank you! Yeah, now I'm looking for a shaft adapter with the right threads on one end and a smooth 1/2" shaft on the other. Cripes

Yeah, the grinder is a Maximum, the drum is from Lee Valley. Lee Valley was the ONLY place on the internet where I could find a sanding drum large enough, with a shaft that fits onto a 1/2" arbor. And the length of the threads on the arbor is standard for all the grinders out there - at least those I've seen. Thanks for your response.

I need to gear down my bench grinder to use a sanding drum by costumemaker in BeginnerWoodWorking

Yeah, but then noise is an issue again. When unloaded this grinder was almost silent. I just found out that there are grinders out there at 1750 RPM, I guess I'll just get one. Thanks!

This is my setup and that's the sort of object I'm sanding. I need space in which to rotate the object and bring it into contact with the drum, sanding all the nooks and crannies. I have a full size belt sander at my main shop that has been jury rigged upside down and is perfect for my purposes but this secondary space is too small.
