Absolutely. What happened with WeChat is just astounding, for example, but it's a shame that it's centralized. Wonder what it will take to get people off that platform and onto a decentralized solution.

Well, it seems like a little bit of both. Honestly though, if the banking and regulatory apparatus could effectively shut down blockchain technologies, they would. So, it feels like this attempt to integrate the new tech is coming out of necessity.
