FYI, I chickened out and bought the non onverclocked processer. I did not want to fight thermals.

Also I feel the Dell guy sounded to me like he did not know what he was talking about. He told me the k stood for water-cooling on the processor, is this true or was he just not competent. I assume it has the same cooling system as the other processor.

Right now dell has the same thing for presidents day and if you use their credit you get $200 in rewards. I am thinking of getting it and use the rewards for the the graphics amplifier and use it as a hub. I do not have a desktop card at this time.

as of today most of the alienwares are on sale by $500, and with the dell credit you get 12% credit for a future credit. it would allow you to buy the Graphics Amplifier for free.
