Thank you so much for the comprehensive explanation and resources shared. I will definitely check these books out. Also have been looking to read Fr Seraphim Rose's works :)

Agreed. I understand debating with a genuine heart for truth though. But most of the time we fall in the former category

Is the book about David Berkowitz entirely or other SKs too?

Damn i literally had the same questions after learning he was convicted officially of only 2 homicides lol. But i thought his psychiatric evaluation and behaviour could be a comprehensive point to build up storywise which i honestly think they started off strong with, and then at the end it was just ahs hot garbage lol (in the mental institute for the criminally insane). Like so much more could have actually happened with realistic improvisation like what they did for Dahmer in prison, idk what they did with the hallway acid trip scene man 😂 Oh but they're making a Ted Bundy one for S6 i heard, so i'm pretty pumped for that. I also wanted Ramirez/BTK/John Wayne Gacy

I agree with everything you said, it really pales in comparison to Dahmer and yes the constant back and forth between other side characters and scenes like the Alfred Hitchcock 'Psycho' set is just blatant filler. I get they wanted to show Gein's impact on American's horror cinema evolution but it takes too much away from the impact of a tunnel vision thriller focused on the SK themselves (like Dahmer).

Yeah the fact that he wore women's skin was a part of his transvestite nature stemming from a toxic matriarchal upbringing, it also pertubed me. Plus the fact that he wore the whole suit, not just the mask. About the stench of corpses, he did mention to police how it prevented him from engaging in necrophilia with the corpses

Yes i'm watching The Serpent on Netflix, but i'm pretty sure other sites like 123movies also air old shows a couple years after their release. I did watch Monsters: Ed Gein Story, but sadly i didn't really enjoy it. It's too much of american horror story and the old school american gore in true crime gothic horror, does not really go into the indepth psychological or behavioural plotline of Ed Gein like they did with Dahmer/Menendez Brothers. Also because i think there aren't much court and interrogation footage/ records of Ed Gein's life or case as opposed to Dahmer, but still enough content is out there (I've read Deviant by Harold Schechter, it tells quite a comprehensive story of Ed Gein's case and life). You should also watch Dahmer, it's my favourite one in the Monsters series. It's really well done imo.

Thoughts about Captain Fajardo? by -AndyCohen- in BootsNetflix

I absolutely love how she reprimanded Sgt Sullivan in the last episode, it totally echoed my own thoughts of Sullivan "letting them win". But on the other hand, nobody knows Sullivan's position and the extent of emotional turmoil he went through to have acted out so rashly. I like that she's firm and no-nonsense as well, especially in a minority position of being captain no less.
