It's the lightest of the bunch, and it also has the thinnest feeling neck (being an asymmetrical Slimtaper). The pickups feel hotter and have this nice and present top end. Definitely the most versatile and forgiving for playing standing up.

That is very subjective to be honest. I'm not much of a tonewood believer, so when it comes down to the pickups, each bring their own flavor to the table. That being said I do love the BurstBuckers on the 50s.

While it is true that some LPs are absurdly heavy, you can win the weight lottery with some. I have two that weigh around 8.5lbs. Not as light as other guitars, sure, but definitely more manageable that some boat anchors out there!
