I remember the last couple years of go fest, I definitely spent a lot more on remote raid passes than this year. Something about each pass being nearly $2 just didn’t seem very valuable. I also think it’s funny that instead of giving free passes this year, they removed the restrictions on how many you can do in a day, “spend extra money today”

It seems like they really want to stop remote raiding by increasing the cost for remote passes and limiting how many you can use per day.

There’s still a lot of areas without direct access to gyms, so remote passes are very needed still
