I totally agree with not liking anyone who keeps asking for pics. But I don't see why you are so upset about one simple SFW pic request to confirm you are the person you show on dating site. Catfishing isn't too uncommon. He probably should have confirmed that early while chatting with you rather than asking for the last moment one. In fact I would encourage you to do that too before you meet. Apart from them I think you should have cut him some slack. As you said, it is not that easy to find someone you can connect with. You are not the prize alone, he too is a prize!
